In the railway industry, safety and regulatory compliance constitute the foundation of operations.
The ASBO Inspection Unit operates in support of railway operators, infrastructure managers, as well as technical and maintenance service providers — assisting them in fulfilling legal requirements, building trust, and enhancing the quality of their processes.
Our offer is addressed to:
• Railway undertakings or infrastructure managers implementing risk control measures in accordance with Article 4 of Directive 2004/49/EC;
• Entities in charge of maintenance (ECM) undertaking activities in accordance with Article 14a(3) of Directive 2004/49/EC;
• Contracting entities or manufacturers that engage a notified body to carry out the EC verification procedure in accordance with Article 18(1) of Directive 2008/57/EC, or entities designated pursuant to Article 17(3) of that Directive;
• Applicants for authorisation to place structural subsystems into service.
Safety Assessment Reports for Significant Changes (technical, operational, and organisational) – CSM RA.
Independent Assessment Reports of the Process for Determining Applicable Requirements in accordance with Article 13 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/545, concerning modifications and authorisations for the placing in service of railway vehicles.
Independent Safety Assessment Reports regarding the safety evidence for structural subsystems (ISA).
